Located underneath the iconic Gherkin building in the centre of the City of London, the Sterling embodies the bustling, energetic and fun side of the City. Offering space for morning coffee, a full English breakfast and a powerpoint presentation to 30 of your colleagues, or simply a quiet spot with the papers, this venue strikes that magical balance between work, relaxation and play in one space – well two, if you count our mezzanine level...
Fresh food is the order of the day at lunch-time where you can choose from our fish display which fillet you would like or simply have a chat with our head chef across the pass to our open kitchen. With a varying seasonal menu and light-bites to hearty mains, we have something for you.
The evenings see the candles come out, the lights dimmed and the music turned up. It’s now time to relax, be it with a beer and a platter up at the bar, or 50 of your closet friends in a private area with canapés and Champagne. Either way our friendly waitresses and bar-staff will look after you.

The Sterling is available for exclusive hire on any day. Please give us a call as prices will vary.
The Sterling does not have any private rooms however we can offer a mezzanine area with a screen for presentations or to play one of our many games on a Nintendo WII. This compliments the other two screens that we have downstairs which can be sectioned out for big or small groups.
A Quiz night can be arranged for private bookings on a Monday or Tuesday Evening.
