We are a very central city bar! The bar itself has been described as ‘very clean and spacious’ and also ‘cool and quite hip’. Both, we are pleased to say, are true... We aim to create a very relaxed atmosphere. Table reservations in the bar are available prior to and on the day, offering table service at lunchtimes. The evening has a more ‘vibrant lively atmosphere’. Again we have a full menu offering including a great range of platters, the Kitchen is open from 12 noon until 3pm and 5pm until 9pm. We are more than happy to reserve areas in the bar, free of charge both day and night, for any occasion, whilst still keeping a number of tables free for walk in people.

We offer a fab range of beverages, catering for all tastes, from our premium Budvar (from the Czech Republic) to Heineken and we pride ourselves with our Cask Mark real ales, London Pride and Adnams being our most popular bitters. With Summer offerings such as a relaxing jug of Pimms or our soon to come Sangria, to suit all tastes, is the perfect way to spend an afternoon/early evening in the sunshine with friends outside on the decking-forget Holborn, you will feel you are in the Costa del Sol! We have great quality bottled lagers, from a beautiful New Zealand Monteiths to Central Americas Modelo and a great pale ale-Little Creatures. If you are looking for something much lighter and for those who have to go back to work, try the mango Fruitizer, a taste-bud quencher! Then there is our new wine list-which needs to be seen to be believed at what a fantastic range of wines we have, White Rioja, Spy Valley Sauvignon, Tarquino Malbec and Samm Mountain Pinotage being just a few of our favourites. To accompany this we have a full menu offering including a great range of platters, the Kitchen is open from 12 noon until 3pm and 5pm until 9pm.

Our private bar downstairs is another gem of an addition to the Square Pig, again this is free to hire and there is no minimum spend. We can cater for up to 100 people standing and a comfortable 40 people seated. You will have your own bar tender with you all night and are able to order food on the night or pre-book food prior to your event. The private bar is great for any occasions, DJ nights, birthdays, general work functions, quiz nights... with our projector and pull down screen it is also ideal for business meetings and the televisions make it a great place to sit back and watch the footie. The room would be yours for the evening, you can decorate it according to the event and have your own I-pod playlist exclusive to you-you would be in a world of your own!
