Venue Description:
South London Pacific is a Polynesian themed late night tiki cocktail bar. Open to the public on Fridays and Saturdays till 3am a big fun party vibe prevails where the emphasis is on luscious exotic cocktails, fantastic music and dancing. It first opened in March 2002, the first tiki bar since Trader Vic’s. There have since been many imitators of Polynesian pop culture, but no bar quite matches SLP for over the top kitsch with huge tiki carvings, bamboo awnings and vast vistas adorning the bar.
Different sized areas for groups of 10-15 to 50 to 100 can be reserved in the bar. These are popular meeting areas for guests celebrating everything from birthdays, to hen and stag dos, engagements, leaving dos etc. Here, guests can take advantage of classic tiki cocktails for only £3.95 each until 10pm as well as Vietnamese party platters for £5 a head.

Days the whole venue can be booked for exclusive hire, what are the costs and min spends for each day?
South London Pacific can be hired exclusively from Sunday to Thursday and sometimes Saturday and Sunday afternoons all depending on availability. It has already provided a unique tropical setting for club nights, album launches, fashion photo shoots, wedding receptions and general private parties.
The costs are
Minimum Spend at the bar £1000
Security £300 7 hours
DJs £300 6 hours
Vietnamese Finger Buffet £7 a head
For most parties we would usually recommend our own DJs who have practically everything you would like them to play, anything from 50s lounge chic to contemporary dancefloor treats. You may want to bring your own DJs which is fine subject to vetting what sort of music it would be. We can source cabaret if need be, or we can offer swing dance lessons at £100 for an hour for 20 people.
Fashion Shoot £1000 per day
Different areas can be reserved at the front and back of the bar. At the back there is the SUNKEN AREA situated right next to the dance floor, this area acts as a base for different sized parties of minimum 20 to a maximum of 100 people approximately. It also benefits from having our popular Hawaiian table football.
At the front of the bar areas can be reserved for smaller to medium sized groups ie minimum 10 to a maximum of 40 people. These areas benefit from being a base which is slightly set away from the music so that people who want to sit and chat can, and those who want a bit more action are just a stone’s throw away from the main dance floor.
