Venue Description:
SILVER FLEET - Three luxury vessels, one iconic river and endless London landmarks, Silver Fleet, the River Thames and London - a combination creating amazing events for you and your guests. A friendly welcome awaits you at Silver Fleet.
SILVER STURGEON - Chic, cool and contemporary - this is the Silver Sturgeon - the flagship of the fleet. Re-launched in March 2007 following a multi-million pound refurbishment, the Silver Sturgeon's interior and Upper Deck has been completely recreated by leading British designers and architects. The effect: a stunning 21st Century yacht. Inside, warm natural colours in cream, maple, oak and chestnut have been used to create a relaxing environment. Oval booth seating in butter soft Alma leather line both interior walls, offering stylish and comfortable seating for a large number of guests. The bar in the Ensign Room features dramatic wood marquetry created by award winning fashion designer Tristan Webber, together with a gentle, pure wool carpet, in a design reflecting the subtle curves and tones of the bar - from pale ash to burnt honey. A curvaceous glass grand staircase, with subtly illuminated treads, is an impressive and imposing feature of the River Room. As well as a solid oak dance floor, the River Room has a large leather bench seat, positioned at the very fore of the boat; perfect for relaxing and taking in the views of London from the river. A stylish 150sqm open air teak deck with a Veuve-Clicquot Champagne bar boasts a spectacular glass roof and offers space for outdoor entertaining and BBQ parties. Sipping cocktails here on a long hot summer evening whilst taking in what are arguably the best views of London is a magnificent experience.
SILVER BARRACUDA - Reflecting the style of the 1930s, yet well appointed for modern hospitality and entertaining, the Silver Barracuda takes guests back to the era of Art Deco glamour. With an interior featuring an opulent and luxurious approach to design - the effect is truly breathtaking. Over three decades of decadence on the Thames, she has welcomed onboard prime ministers, film stars, pop singers, writers and royalty. Onboard you'll find nutmeg and cream wool Axminster carpeting, a retractable dance floor roof, soft, tan leather sofas and chaise longues, oak carpentry, intimate booth seat dining, a mirrored 1930s bar with a vintage cast iron grille facade previously housed in the prestigious Savoy Hotel, alongside historical shipping medallions from Lloyds of London.
ROYAL NORE - As the official Royal barge on the River Thames, the Royal Nore has been involved with State visits since 1971. In recognition of the many royal functions that followed, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II consented that the vessel be renamed the Royal Nore. When the Queen is onboard the Royal Standard and Regalia are displayed and Her Majesty is always accompanied by her Bargemaster, along with eight Royal Watermen in full ceremonial dress standing on the fore deck. Following a complete refit, the Royal Nore has now returned with a top deck entirely rebuilt together with a lounge area and reception space on one level. The boat's décor and furnishings feature Irish Ulster Wool carpeting, bespoke Lloyd loom armchairs, tan leather button back banquette and rich Cherrywood panelling throughout.
"rhubarb" on the river, a division of the highly-acclaimed caterer "rhubarb" food design, known within the events industry for its creative flairand style, provides an exclusive catering service to the entire Silver Fleet. All menus prepared onboard are a product of this inspired partnership.
