Venue Description:
Pendennis Castle is a magnificent Tudor fortress standing proudly on the Cornish coastline. Built by Henry VIII, the castle has superb views out to sea on 3 sides and is a stunning venue for your perfect wedding.
Wedding ceremonies take place in the Lower Gun Room of the atmospheric Castle Keep. This circular room looks spectacular when decorated with flowers and lit by candlelight, and is a magical place to say your wedding vows in front of your family and friends.
After the ceremony, photographs are normally taken in the Chemise, a walled lawn circling the Castle Keep. We suggest your guests have a glass or two of bubbly while they enjoy the breathtaking views.
The Royal Artillery Barracks provides a warm and stylish space for your reception dinner and for your choice of band or DJ as the evening progresses. As the sun sets over the horizon, the tall windows of this impressive late-Victorian building frame the floodlit Castle Keep beautifully.

The Castle is available for hire 7 days a week.
At Pendennis Castle you will benefit from the experience of our dedicated Hospitality team who will work with you to plan your big day and be there throughout the whole event to ensure that everything runs perfectly.
Rather than offer just one or two set menus, we give you a choice of the very best local Caterers who will create a menu to reflect your tastes. You are welcome to use your own choice of florist to decorate, which means that you can really make the Castle your own.
