At the heart of the Mermaid is the main Auditorium which has tiered theatre style seating, with plenty of leg room, great sightlines and holds up to 600 delegates. There is a vast stage, suitable for back projection this can also be used to “reveal “a drinks and canapé reception following a conference thus creating a “WOW” factor.

The Mermaid’s new meeting and exhibition space is equipped with state of the art audio visual equipment, high speed Wi-Fi connections; mood lighting has river views and is fully DDA compliant. The Newgate can be used for exhibitions and will accommodate up to 40 x 3m x 2m shell scheme stands. This space can also be used for catering in conjunction with the Mermaid Auditorium; alternatively it can be used as a standalone meeting room with the flexibility to break down in 4 smaller meeting spaces. The capacities range from 330 theatre style, 200 cabaret style and up to 280 for dinner with a wide range of alternative capacities and set up’s. The new space will add even more versatility for the organisers using the Mermaid and will be ideal for a variety of events including small AGM’s, conferences, training seminars, product launches and dinners.

In addition there are a further 2 meetings rooms Queenhithe & Billingsgate which can hold 50 – 120 delegates. The River Room suite has 2 rooms with fabulous views across the Thames of The Shard, Tate Modern and Shakespeare Globe theatre. These rooms are ideal for dinner parties, seated Christmas parties up to 150 and drinks reception up to 500.
