Dartmouth House, home of the English Speaking Union, is an elegant mansion set in the heart of London’s Mayfair, providing the perfect setting for hosting meetings and events.
The original building, constructed in the 16th century, was converted by Lord Revelstoke in the late 19th Century into a beautiful town house with many interesting features.
These rooms can be used independently or as a suite and can be equipped easily with your own lighting, staging and audio/visual systems. From private luncheons for up to 20 in the elegant Small Drawing Room to formal receptions for 350 in the house, each event will receive the same high quality personal attention and efficient service. The Courtyard is a unique space in such a central London location and ideal for summer parties, BBQ’s and pre-dinner / post conference drinks receptions.

Our food and drink
All our food is made on-site and uses the freshest of ingredients to ensure not only quality but also seasonality. The chef team is headed by Richard Cowie who has been the Head Chef at Dartmouth House for over 10 years.
We can prepare a meal for 10 or 140 guests with menus created to suit each occasion. If you do not see what you want, talk to us and we will be happy to create a menu especially for you.
We have also sourced a variety of wines through our suppliers including Fair Trade and British wines – we think you will enjoy them and of course we also have the old favourites if you prefer.
