Venue Description:
Located in the heart of the City of London, the Barbican is Europe’s largest Arts & Conference Centre, offering a wealth of conference, exhibition and banqueting spaces.
The renowned Barbican Hall plays host to events ranging from university graduations to AGM’s as well as international orchestras and performers and can accommodate up to 1943 guests. For slightly more compact events, Barbican Theatre, with its excellent acoustics and production facilities, makes an ideal venue for product launches and seminars.
The Barbican also offers a range of conference facilities for smaller events ranging in capacity from 10 to 280 delegates. Seating from 153 to 280 delegates, the three Barbican cinemas are well-appointed comfortable auditoriums suitable for the most sophisticated presentation. In addition, seven smaller conference suites can be used for board meetings or used as syndicate spaces for larger events.
Entertaining is something the Barbican does rather well. Corporate hospitality packages are available where a visit to a performance or exhibition is followed by drinks and/or dinner in our conservatory and garden room. A tropical, indoor oasis, the conservatory is home to over 2,000 species of plants, quails, finches and koi carp and offers a unique venue within the City. Combined with the garden room, with its wood paneling and stunning views, these areas make an ideal venue for receptions, private dining and weddings as both the reception and the actual ceremony may be held here.
Also located under the glass roof of the conservatory is the Conservatory Terrace with views over the tropical treetops and accommodating up to 200 guests. For smaller events Searcy’s Restaurant offers modern British cuisine in a stylish and contemporary setting.

Function Rooms can be booked Mondays-Sundays. Room Hire Costs are listed below, food and beverage minimum spend varies based on day of week and time of year.
The hire fee for the following spaces are listed below (please note that the first number listed is the price for standing receptions, the second number listed is for dinners, please remember to add 17.5% VAT)

We are offering to waive the £2,000 room hire fee entirely on any evening events that take place Monday through Friday in August based on a minimum catering spend of £5,000.
We are also offering 50% off room hire for all events booked through 31st March 2009
