Opposite world famous landmarks such as Westminster Abbey, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, the home of the Supreme Court is the recently restored Grade II* listed Middlesex Guildhall. A Gothic style building constructed in 1913; it provides a highly prestigious setting for dinners and receptions. Eye-catching features include majestic ceilings, intricate carved beams, an abundance of exquisite stained glass and world famous artwork. New artwork was also incorporated throughout the building as part of the extensive renovation. The Lawyers’ Suite - a beautiful room overlooking Parliament Square, the Lawyers’ Suite is perfect for smaller intimate dinners or receptions. It can also be used for pre-dinner drinks by guests when hired in conjunction with the Lobby on the floor above. There are a number of pieces of artwork for guests to enjoy. The Lobby – is ideal location for larger sophisticated dinners or receptions. Situated directly outside Courtroom One, the largest, most ornate and imposing of the Courtrooms, the lobby has a wealth of interesting features that include wooden panelling and intricate stained glass. All these combine to convey a sense of grandeur, and heritage, making this a setting of distinction.
