Science session in The Lab!
In the far corner of the basement, in what was once a rabbit warren of research labs where scientific greats such as Faraday, Tyndall, Bragg and Porter made life-changing discoveries, ‘The Lab’ has opened its doors to entertain!
The Lab offers curiosity-driven, experiment-led sessions which provide guests the unique opportunity to dabble in science. Groups will experience working in a state-of-the-art laboratory – lab coat and goggles included – where they will get hands-on with equipment and processes used by real life scientists. This is a fun and interactive session led by a facilitator – an experience exclusive to the Royal Institution.
